Be careful out there boys and girls...and have a good one.

Amnesty Bill Tabled in Senate, More Protest Expected Monday.

The votes were just not there to pass President George W. Bush's amnesty bill...I mean guest worker program...or was it a path to citizenship??? I am calling it the illegall amnesia amnesty bill, since the word amnesy comes from the word amnesia and everyone has seem to forgotten what happened the last time we passes an amnesty bill.

Anyways, the illegall amnesty bill is dead for now. The Senate could not come up with an agreement on the bill before breaking for Easter recess... (do they still call it Easter recess??? or is it spring recess now???) So the bill goes on the shelf until they come back from break.

I hear all those pro illegal immigration supporters are comming back out of the shadows to protest on Monday in hopes to get the Senate to cave in to their demands and pass the amnesty bill. Notice on their website how they leave out the word illegal and just call them immigrants. Nice trick isn't it... Immigrants do not have anything to protest here this bill doesn't effect them.

We Have A Lot More At Stake In The Illegal Immigration Issue Than You Might Think..

Straight from the Federal Flag Code of the United States: When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.

The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.

My friends if this doesn't make your blood boil then you simply do not deserve to be an American. I can tolerate a lot of things but this is completely insulting, unacceptable and a disgrace that it happened on American soil. In fact, I was less offended by the protesters burning the flag in the streets of L.A.
Here is an idea... How about someone organize a counter protest... we can march in the streets and burn the Mexican flag. Lets see how far we get before someone calls us untolerant racist bigots...
It is sad, sad times in America my friends. I never ever in my life thought that I would live to see our country slowly be over taken while our elected officials sit on their hands.

The above pictures are of Mexican students who took down an American flag at a high school in Texas and put the Mexican flag on top of an upside down American flag.

One has to wonder if the Mexican students new what this may symbolized? My gut feeling says that they may not have known but that they knew and was trying to show some kind of disrespect and I don’t think it would take a rocket scientist to figure out putting a foreign nations flag above another on the same flag pole means you hold one nation over the top of the other. One thing is for sure, whether they knew or not the message is quite clear. The United States is in extreme danger and the threat is coming from Mexico!!!

It is not the only sign of disrespect that has been shown towards the stars and stripes. In Florida an American flag was stolen and replaced with a Mexican flag at a condominium community.

"I woke up Sunday morning and looked up from my patio and then realized that the American flag wasn't on the flagpole," said Sue Miller a Chasewood North board member. "What captured my attention were the colors — at first I thought it was an Italian flag, but one of our residents said it was the Mexican flag."

"I went to the flagpole, to see if the American flag was maybe on the ground, but they took it, and they cut the rope to get the American flag down and the Mexican flag up as well."
"We tried to get the flag down but couldn't, so we need to hire a company with a boom truck to get up there and replace the rope and put up the American flag," she said. "I would guesstimate that this would cost $500 or more to do." Miller said.

Now, for those of you who are still in denial that this is an invasion and America is in great danger of loosing "our way of life" and pretty much our country. I would like to direct your attention to this: There is an interesting editorial from a Mexican magazine called "Expansion." The article is in Spanish but the message is clear. The title of the editorial is as follows. "A proposito de "Con todo respeto, Los Angeles es nuestro." Translation? "With all due respect, Los Angeles is ours."

The editorial goes on to say this: "Waiters, waitresses, chamber maids, babysitters and farmhands are instigating a cultural recon quest in cities like Los Angeles, Portland, Washington, New York, Denver."

Here are some pictures from the protests in Los Angeles.

A group of protesters yell and ridicule another protester for bringing an American flag...

Yeah, but they just want the jobs that Americans don't want... riiiight...

Here we have a picture of a billboard sign in Los Angeles. That just about says it all.

Their message is clear they are working on the reconquest or the takeover of America and our elected officials are letting them have it without a fight.

We have reached the crossroads in our history as a nation. There are two directions that our country can head from this point. Towards the constitutional rule of law that our founding fathers set in place or towards a government that no longer represents the rule of law, are influenced by a majority mob rule of non citizens, and only passes mere guidelines and suggestions to not be followed at a later date.

These demonstrations are a challenge to “our way of life.” We are witnessing before our very eyes the force of raw power from illegal aliens or non citizens who are challenging our constitutional rule of law. They are demanding that the laws for border control and immigration restrictions be ignored so they can get the same rights and benefits of American citizens and our elected officials are allowing it to happen and encouraging it to continue. This is an attempted social coup, and is nothing less of war by other means than actual military force.

Congress was suppose to come up with new legislation on this today but came to a stalemate. Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois said: “The American people wanted something done about this and we have failed them.” Yes, Senator Durbin, politicians have been failing us for over 20 years on this issue. That was the last time we past a bunch of regulations and laws and gave amnesty to a bunch of illegal aliens. Of course the laws were never enforced just like they will not be enforced this time. By not enforcing the laws you only encourage the illegal behavior to continue. You want to stop illegal immigration, enforce the laws on the books.

As Congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado, who has been trying to get something done about illegal immigration for years now, said last week, “I know this is such a radical idea…but how about we enforce the immigration laws we already have...

What a freakin concept...

That’s what the American people want done Senator Durbin, what we do not want is another piece of legislation that isn’t even worth using for toilet paper.

The Tony Spain Illegal Immigration Solution.

Since our elected officials just can not seem to figure out this illegal immigration thing I decided to come with my own plan. It is not rocket science, or revolutionary, just a 3 step common sense approach to what some would say a complex problem.

1. Now I know this may sound insane but how about we figure out how to enforce the existing laws that we already have? Part of the Presidents responsibilities in the executive branch is to enforce the law not allow people to break it. It is against the law to cross the border into the United States without the proper steps. This is what we call illegal immigration. How do we enforce it???

A. Taking the proper actions to tighten and secure our borders.
Some have proposed a wall with barbed wire and gun turrents. I do not support this idea for one reason. A wall to keep people out can also be used to keep people in if socialist communism was ever to take over. I would propose something different. We have border patrol agents, lets use them and let them do their jobs effectively.

First thing I would do with the border patrol is make them part of the Department of Defense. Their own branch like the Coast Guard.

Next I would make it were soldiers who are getting out of other branches of service, like the Army, Marines, Navy, or Airforce could transfer into the Border Patrol. They could keep their rank and their time served would transfer over for retirement. So if you had 4 years in the Army and had the rank of sergeant. you would retain those 4 years towards your retirement and keep your sergeant rank in the Border Patrol.

There are quite a few people getting out of the military that would still like to serve but they have a family and just can't deal with the deployments anymore. This would be a fine way for them to continue to serve their country and they would bring a valuable skill to the Border Patrol that we wouldn't have to train a new recruit on.

I would also provide them with more fire power, communication equipment, night vision goggles and what ever they needed to do their jobs effectively.

B. Work on deporting the illegal immigrants already here. Completely dissassemble the Immigration and Naturalization Service and make them a division of the Border Patrol Agency. This destroys the Beuracracy between the two and ensures that they will share information and work better together.

Put this division in charge of finding employers who knowingly are hiring illegal immigrants. Turn the employers over to federal agents and deport the illegal immigrants back to their homeland.

2. Increase and strictly enforce the penalties for employers who hire illegal immigrants. This is were the government has to step up by making the punishment so severe that the practice of hiring illegal immigrants will stop. This is something that would have to be worked out I am sure but I would propose a fine of 25,000 per illegal immigrant and 2 years in prison.

3. Withhold all entitlements to illegal immigrants. No welfare, no social security, no unemployment, no non essential health care, no education...no nothing. The only thing they get is emergency medical care and police protection. The concept here is rather simple, make America more desirable for those who want to enter legally and less desirable to those who come ilegally. Reward the behavior we want and punish the behavior we don't want.

What we do not need is more worthless government legislation that awards the act of illegal immigration because they say it is the best we can do. Sorry I disagree, the laws are already in place to fight illegal immigration...lets enforce them.

San Fransisco Joins Chicago in Protecting Illegal Immigrants.

First it was Chicago that said it would not enforce any federal law that made illegal immigrants criminals or deny illegal immigrants free benefits.

Now we have San Fransisco Mayor Gavin Newsom said Thursday that The City will not comply with any federal legislation that criminalizes efforts to help illegal immigrants.

The mayor also denounced a bipartisan congressional proposal that would beef up border security and allow as many as 12 million illegal immigrants to gain legal status.

Hey you spineless GOP members of congress... tell these liberal sancuary city governments who think that they are above any law they do not agree with that if they do not comply with and enforce federal law they are not going to get any more federal assistance. Enough is enough...

Who the hell is in charge here any way??? Grow some freakin tail bone!!!

NASCAR Calls NBC Journalism Outrageous For Their Attempts At Martinsville.

The NBC Sting on NASCAR story finally blew up today. In an associated press story NASCAR said NBC's Dateline NBC confirmed it was sending Muslim-looking men to a race, along with a camera crew to film fans' reactions. The NBC crew was "apparently on site in Martinsville, Virginia, walked around and no one bothered them," NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said Wednesday.

"It is outrageous that a news organization of NBC's stature would stoop to the level of going out to create news instead of reporting news," Poston said.

"Any legitimate journalist in America should be embarrassed by this stunt. The obvious intent by NBC was to evoke reaction, and we are confident our fans won't take the bait," he said.

There is also a column at nascar.com about the whole situation at Martinsville and they give Kudos to NASCAR fans for not taking the bait.

So...NBC came up empty at Martinsville...now they are on there way to Texas. I wonder how many places NBC will go without finding an incident of racism, or how long will they go before they stage a NASCAR fan look-a-like yelling racial slurs at an Arab Muslim look-a-like...

I wonder if NBC will report that they were unable to find a lot of examples of anti-Arab and Muslim racism or will they just keep filming until they find what they want and then go see...we told you their was racism here.

Sorry for the light blogging lately...

I apologize for the light blogging lately but I just don't have the time right now. So blogging will probably continue to be light for some time.

Is NBC Plotting A Sting To Uncover Racist NASCAR Fans???

This was uncovered by a source of Michelle Malkin who watches political group e-mails. They have uncovered an e-mail, that I have posted below, that calls for Muslims to volunteer to go to a NASCAR race and while NBC undercover cameras film reactions from the fans. It seems that NBC is trying to get some racist reaction.

This is amazing if it is true…and I would not be one bit surprised if it is. I wrote an e-mail to NASCAR Corporation Headquarters and have already recieved a response from the head of Public Relations.

They said that they are aware and are monitoring the possibility of the situation but wouldn't share any more details at this time.

I have also wrote an e-mail to Dateline@nbc.com. I am still waiting for a reply.

Here are the links to the 2 e-mails that is in a MSN political group forum.

Salam,

I hope everyone is doing well.

I recently spoke with a producer of the NBC Dateline show and he is in the process of filming a piece on anti-Muslim and anti-Arab discrimination in the USA. They are looking for some Muslim male candidates for their show who would be willing to go to non-Muslim gatherings and see if they attract any discriminatory comments or actions while being filmed.

They recently taped two turbaned Sikh men attending a football game in Arizona to see how people would treat them. They set them up with hidden microphones and cameras, etc. They want to do the same thing 2 or 3 other times (in various parts of the USA) with one or two Muslim men in each setting. They are looking for men who actually "look Muslim". They want a guy with no foreign accent whatsoever, a good thick beard, an outgoing personality, and someone willing to wear a kufi/skullcap during the filming. They also want someone who is fairly well accomplished and has contributed to society at large in some meaningful way.

That said, I'm urgently looking for someone who can be filmed this April 1st weekend at a Nascar event (and other smaller events) in Virginia. NBC is willing to fly in someone and cover their weekend expenses. The filming would take place all day on Saturday and Sunday. We already have a hijabi sister who will be filmed there but a Muslim is also needed to join her. I also need candidates for the other filming segments which will take place in the following weeks.
A few weeks later, NBC will fly all the filmed participants to New York City to interview them as a group about their experience and thoughts on discrimination they've faced in America, especially in light of the times we live in (war on terror, 9-11, etc.). The show, if approved by NBC (highly likely), is expected to air sometime this summer.
What I need from interested candidates is an email with an attached clear photograph, a resume, and contact information. I also need basic information such as age, ethnic background, accomplishments, etc. The sooner I can get this the better and please don't make emails too long. I will then submit a group of candidates to NBC so they can choose the people for the show.
Please forward this to all Muslim lists you can. Because of the upcoming filming in Virginia, this is pretty time-sensitive. My contact information is below.

Subject: Update to NBC Dateline Search (including sisters)
Salam,
A couple of days ago, I sent out the email below regarding the NBC Dateline producer looking for Muslim males to be filmed. Alhamdulillah, I've been flooded with responses that will be forwarded to them soon. I just wanted to send an update that they decided to postpone the filming at the NASCAR event by one weekend (until April 8th). It's still not too late to submit your information but the sooner, the better.
Also, a couple of sisters have inquired about submitting info. While NBC did mention that they prefer male candidates (because they feel that people are less likely to show discrimination to a woman out of courtesy), I will also forward emails I receive from sisters. They may consider filming another hijabi sister if she's very qualified for the role. Please read the initial email I sent below about what to submit.Again, please forward this out to as many email lists as possible.

NBC Sting On NASCAR Update.

I just got a response from the e-mail I sent to NBC asking them about this story.

Here is my e-mail without the two postings which you can read in my earlier post on this blog.

To whom it may concern,

I found these two postings below in a muslim group message board and was just wondering if there was any truth to this? Is NBC Dateline working on a story about anti-Muslim and anti-Arab discrimination in the USA? Is NBC targeting NASCAR races for any particular reason? and will the show air this summer?

Any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.
Tony Spain.

Here is the NBC response:

"Dateline" is looking into this story. We were intrigued by the results of a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll and other articles regarding increasing anti-Muslim sentiments in the United States. It's very early on in our newsgathering process, but be assured we will be visiting a number of locations across the country and are confident that our reporting team is pursuing this story in a fair manner. We did not write or authorize Tarek El-Messidi's email.

Interestingly enough this seems to be the standard response that everyone is getting from Dateline NBC. Michelle Malkin recieved an e-mail from the Lars Larson talk show that had invited someone from NBC on to talk about this whole thing and

Play Ball!!!! President Bush Throws Out First Pitch In Cincinnati On Opening Day.

Opening Day: Bush is a hit with the Reds.
The crowd of 42,591 roared when Bush took the Great American Ball Park field shortly after 2 p.m yesterday to throw out the ceremonial opening day pitch. The media keeps trying to tell us that his approval ratings are in the gutter according to their poll numbers. Well, I just don't believe it.

Below is a link to the video of the President's first pitch. Listen to this crowd and tell me that his approval rating is 30 some percent.

Tony Spain's Monday Morning Rant: Censorship...

I know it is not Monday but since I was not able to post on Monday I will give it to you today.

Since I am not going to blog on the weekends anymore I find myself building up steam over the weekend. So to open the release valve and blow off some steam here is Tony's Monday Morning Rant: Warning the following comments are the written expressed rage of the author right off the top of his head... proceed with caution.

The American Family Association Wants FCC To Fine FOX Over NASCAR Bristol Race.

FOX TV is under fire from the American Family Association who has contacted the FCC and asked them to fine FOX TV over an incident that happened during the broadcast of the NASCAR Food City 500 race from Bristol TN.

What happened that got the AFA crying foul??? Well, it was a little bit of foul language used between Martin Truex Jr. and his pit crew chief Kevin Manion after Truex Jr. wrecked his car into the inside wall. Now, if you've watched any NASCAR race on television before you would know that periodically through out the race they tap into the radio communications between the drivers, their spotters and their pit crews. This is what FOX TV was doing with driver Martin Truex Jr. and his crew chief Kevin Manion when Manion said

The AFA claims that "millions of viewers, including children, were offended by the crude profanity." Well that is just a bunch of “horse hair” if you ask me.

Is the AFA trying to say that millions of viewers did not know what they were watching and therefore were taken by surprise??? These people were watching a NASCAR race, not Sesame Street. This is not the first time foul language has made its way to the airwaves during the broadcast of one of these races. Any adult that was offended by Manion’s explicit description as to how Truex Jr’s car had been handling should find another sport to watch, golf might be a good start. Look folks, this is part of the culture that surrounds NASCAR, always has been. You take a driver that just hit a wall going 100 plus miles per hour and something obscene is probably going to be said. If you don’t like it then don’t watch it.

As for whatever children that may have been watching, I am willing to bet that this is a word they've heard hundreds of times before. I know from my own personal life experiences that I had heard this word plenty of times as a child usually from my father. It would sound a little something like this: "you'd better clean this s_ _ _ up (your room) today if you want to play with your friends this weekend," or "don't give me any more of your c_ _ _ or I'm going to kick your a_ _ so hard you'll have to lift your shirt to take a s_ _ _!!."

But anyways, back to the AFA… The AFA is always looking to get someone in trouble with the FCC. In 2002 the AFA complained to the FCC about a Victoria Secret Fashion Show. They said that it was a “high tech strip show and broke the laws of decency.” They also condemned Deion Sanders for his claims of being a born again Christian and participating by interviewing one of the models in what they called a “solicitation of pornographic broadcast.” In 2004 the AFA continued an on going campaign against Howard Stern for his “obscene” radio show. This time his crime was a caller’s reference to the “N” word. The AFA complained to the FCC and Clear Channel Radio demanding that Stern had to go. This ultimately led to Stern being fired by Clear Channel Radio and moving to Sirius Sattelite Radio. Also in 2004 the AFA was behind a complaint campaign to the FCC trying to stop the November Veterans Day airing of Saving Private Ryan on ABC for vulgar language. The AFA was also behind a campaign that targeted the “Harry Potter” books claiming it promoted witchcraft among children.

Now don’t get me wrong here, I am not trying to stop the AFA from saying whatever it is they want to say. In fact, after visiting the AFA website I found there are several things that I agree with the AFA on which is why I do not watch much TV. I just do not agree with how they have decided to deal with it.

I believe we have freedom of speech. I also believe that if you do not like someone else’s freedom of speech you have the right to speak out against them, organize boycotts, and turn them off. But the AFA is trying to take away that freedom of speech away from people who disagree with them, like Howard Stern by using the FCC. These people believe in pure 100% control over the airwaves. In other words, they are for censorship. Instead of letting viewers decide what they want to watch, hear, or read they want to control what you get to watch, hear, or read. So what happens when the shoe is on the other foot and it is Christian and conservative values that are under fire from a group that demands the FCC to do something.

I say let the free market run its course. If there is a market for what is being broadcast than so be it. If there is not one it will eventually disappear. Just ask the Dixie Chicks.

But once again, the AFA is out there urging their followers to write letters to the FCC complaining about Fox TV for allowing the "s" word to be broadcast. They want the FCC to fine Fox for this infraction of the laws of common decency. What a bunch of absolute bulls_ _ _. And if you don’t like that then read someone else’s Blog!!!
