Karl Rove told President Bush last week that corruption in Congress caused them the 2006 election, rather than Iraq. Perhaps, I tend to think it is because republicans lost the base of the party when they abandoned the party platform. Rove is right about one thing; it had nothing to do with Iraq. Of course democrats will be quick to point out, Rove is just a freshmen college dropout from Utah State, what could he possibly know? Apparently a lot, he got the so-called “bumbling idiot” from Texas elected twice!
