Bush Administration Starts To Fight Back.

For months they have let the charge stand from the extreme fringe left that 'Bush lied' about the war in Iraq. They should know that if anything is repeated often enough, especially when it's backed by a more than willing press, people are going to start to believe it.

I guess it's better to be late to the fight than never show up at all. Vice President Dick Cheney is the latest to hit back.

There is absolutely no evidence that 'Bush lied' about anything having to do with Iraq. Also, Democrats who now pretend to oppose the war in Iraq, are the same people who looked at the same intelligence the president did and decided to support the war. Now they want it both ways and yesterday, Vice President Dick Cheney called them on it:

"And the suggestion that's been made by some U.S. senators that the President of the United States or any member of this Administration purposely misled the American people on pre-war intelligence is one of the most dishonest and reprehensible charges ever aired in this city. Some of the most irresponsible comments have, of course, come from politicians who actually voted in favor of authorizing force against Saddam Hussein. These are elected officials who had access to the intelligence, and were free to draw their own conclusions."
