Mr. President....The Illegal Immigrant Invasion Continues.

Mr. President the invaders have taken California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and most of Florida... If nothing is done we will loose Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Michigan, and New York. They have also started to invade Illinois, where they have taken Chicago. They are also invading North Carolina, Georgia, Massachuesettes, Maryland, and Pennsylvania... Please, Mr President...enforce the laws that would put a stop to this... Do something.....

Chicago Takes Stand Against Immigration Bill.

If the great immigration debate now raging in Congress is decided in a way that turns illegal immigrants into criminals, Chicago Police officers and other city employees would not enforce it, the City Council decided Wednesday.

If Congress turns illegal immigrants into criminals!!! Damn it…where is my rubber brick!!! Only the liberal mindset that has taken over the city of Chicago would not be able to understand that illegal means against the law. In fact if you look up illegal in the dictionary you will find this: n. an alien who has entered a country illegally. Gee, would that make him a freakin criminal!!! Well not in Chicago I guess!!!

Oh, there is more.

Finance committee chairman Edward M. Burke had this to say: "The roundup and deportation
of undocumented workers in our country is neither fair nor intelligent. ... Our nation desperately needs an intelligent and humane policy of immigration. ... We cannot permit the resources of the City of Chicago to reflect the narrowness and punitive nature of present U.S. immigration law."

We have an intelligent and humane policy of immigration already. It is called legal immigration. It doesn’t exploit immigrants and force them to live in the harsh conditions in the shadows of society. It doesn’t rob them of the full American experience like illegal immigration does and it allows us to screen people before we allow a cesspool that drains the taxpayers of society.

Then we have a man by the name of Ricardo Meza, who is the head of something called the regional counsel for the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund, who testified in support of illegals says, “There is nothing in the proposed law that says you have to check someone's status before providing them with free city services and opportunities,"

Yeah, that's how you attract the best and the brightest! Become a magnet for a highly dependent group of illegals by making sure they will not be refused for a free ride on the gravy train. Then ask the Americans that live there to pay for the services they loot.

And the invasion continues…

Oh by the way, if you're a real American you can’t have a gun in the great socialist republic of Chicago either, well at least not legally anyways. Maybe, the police will not enforce gun laws that turn illegal gun owners into criminals, who where actually law abiding Americans before owning a gun. So if you live in Chicago, you can’t own a gun, the police are not going to enforce the laws…oh well, I am sure the illegal aliens will follow those laws. I mean since they have such a high respect for the laws of our land already…

I have one message for the citizens of Chicago… Good Luck.

UN Gives Iran 30 Days To Clear Up Its Nuke Program.

The U.N. Security Council gave Iran 30 days to clear up suspicions that it is seeking nuclear weapons, and key members turned their focus on what to do if Iran refuses to suspend uranium enrichment and allow more intrusive inspections. Then the UN is going to...uh...going to do something or another or maybe nothing at all... This is such a waiste of time dealing with the UN.

Big Big News On NSA Wiretapping.

In a significant vindication for President Bush, a judge who co-authored the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act said Tuesday that the president was duly authorized under the Constitution to order the wiretapping of suspected terrorists - without getting a warrant from the FISA Court.

Democrats have been in hot pursuit of trying to declare the actions as unconstitutional ever since the New York Times disclosed the information about the secret wiretaps on suspected Al-Qaeda terrorists in this country. Some have even called for his impeachment or censure over the issue.

President Bush cited his Constitutional authority to protect the nation and put the wiretaps in place by executive order. This of course doesn’t sit well with people who feel like he should have to get a warrant from a judge. One of the judges that helped write the 1978 law testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee and said: “If a court refuses a FISA application and there is not sufficient time for the president to go to the court of review, the president can under executive order act unilaterally, which he is doing now."

Score one up for the President, and there is more where that came from.

Here is another one. Just this week five former FISA judges said that President Bush’s actions were entirely legal. Now lets see if that ends up on the front page of the New York Times.

Speaking of the New York Times, they covered the same hearing, but somehow didn’t seem to hear the judge’s favorable words about the President.

Interesting that News Max which is definitely a conservative news outlet covered both the good and bad comments but the New York Times who continues to try and tell us they have no bias missed the whole other side of the story.

Teachers Union Succeeds In Making School Vouchers Illegal In Supreme Court Case In Florida.

Here is a heartbreaking story that could only be made possible by the ill effects of government control over a failing education system and a teachers union determined to let no child leave it behind.

Octavia Lopez is a 17 year old junior, she studies hard and is a good student, she wants to be a nurse, but she comes from a poor family and lives in a school district that has received a failing rating by the state 3 years in a row now. But thanks to Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who managed to get 3 small school choice initiatives passed, Octavia got the opportunity to attend Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School with the Opportunity Scholarship Program.

The OSP serves 733 students state wide, 62 of who are at this school of 416 students. The program provides vouchers, redeemable at private as well as public schools, to students at schools the state says are failing.

The school of choice for Octavia and her parents was Archbishop Curley. It is a fine catholic high school that sends over 98% of its graduates on to college. Definitely a school any parent concerned about there child’s education would like to be able to send them.

But Florida's Supreme Court fulfilled the desires of the teachers unions, and disrupted the lives of the 733 children and their parents across the state, including Olivia’s by declaring, the voucher program was unconstitutional under state law by a 5-2 vote.

The court held that the OSP violates the stipulation, that the state shall provide a "uniform, efficient, safe, secure, and high quality system of free public schools that allows students to obtain a high quality education."

Fortunately, for Octavia and the 62 other students at Archbishop Curley, the school has decided to keep them. But for the other 671 students across the state, it's either come up with the money for a private school, or its back to the failing school system that they tried to leave behind.

This court ruling in Florida shows one reason why choosing judges have become such a controversial battle. George Will fills us in about the Florida Supreme Court decision ruling school vouchers unconstitutional.

MTCW: Picture Of The Day...Happy Birthday Dad.

HAPPY BIRTDAY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!

Today my dad celebrates his 65th birthday. I would just like to take this moment and say happy birthday to my dad and say thanks for everything that he has done for me and everything that he has taught me through out my life. Sometimes while growing up I didn’t realize what dad was trying to teach me nor did understand the methods he sometimes used to teach me valuable lessons in life, but now I do. The older I get the smarter my father becomes.

To me, my father has probably been one of the biggest influences in my life and is one of the greatest men to ever live, although he would never admit to it or claim such a thing on his own.

My father has always been a modest man, a man that never has a whole lot to say, but means what he says when he does have something to say and he always stands his ground. He never worried about what people thought about him he just did what he thought was right.

I remember my father always working while growing up. He worked two of the toughest jobs out there farming and construction. Even though he worked two jobs he was never too tired or to busy for me. Somehow someway he always found the time to teach me how to play baseball in the backyard, he taught me how to shoot and how to hunt, and I don’t think he ever missed one little league game. I am still not sure how he did it, but he did.

If I had to describe in one word the most important thing I watched my father do while growing up I would have to say sacrifice. He worked two jobs, and I hardly ever remember him taking a day off, but he never complained about doing it he just did it. All those years he worked both jobs he never had a new truck, we never had a new car, but we always had one that ran. We could have had a lot of nice things but my father sacrificed and did with out to make sure that we had everything that we needed and opportunities that he did not. He sacrificed his whole life to send my two brothers and myself to a private catholic school. He did it to make sure that we had the best education that money could buy. At the time, I probably didn’t understand that, and probably didn’t even care all that much, but I do now and I am forever grateful for it.

However, the most valuable lessons that I have learned in life did not come from school. They came from the way my father. They are lessons and values that can not be taught in any school and that is the value of hard work, discipline, preparation, accountability, responsibility, faith in God and character. These lessons are just as applicable now as they were to me growing up. But probably the most valuable lesson that he has taught me so far is that the world doesn't owe me a favor, and nobody is going to hand you anything in life you have to earn it. He showed me that I am always loved by him, but that I am never, ever entitled.

He also made sure that I was thankful for what I have. One quick story and I will wrap this up. I remember one time when I was whining and complaining about how things at work was going and how I didn’t like my job, I must have been 20 or 21 years old at the time and he didn’t say anything as I complained at first, then all of a sudden he just looked over at me and said be thankful that your working, a lot of guys don’t have jobs right now to complain about. That’s my dad.

Life is never about him. I mean, two jobs is what it took. It wasn’t a big deal to him. He was just doing what he had to do. He wasn't trying to impress anybody. He wasn't trying to attract attention. He was just trying to fulfill a responsibility, and he did whatever it took for his family.

Thanks Dad for everything... Hope you have a Happy Birthday you have earned it.

US Could Wipe Out Iran Nuke Sites In 2 Days.

A former CIA operative says he believes the US could destroy all of Iran's nuclear capabilites sites in 2 days.

"We can take care of it in a couple of days with air strikes and they wouldn't be able to stop us," he added. "It wouldn't be difficult to plan. They'd be some dangers but I think the United States can do it." Berntsen, who left the CIA in June last year after more than 20 years of service, believes it will be difficult to persuade Iran to stop its nuclear program.

"I know the Iranians. I've worked against the Iranians for years. They are determined to get this no matter what, and they will lie and cheat and do whatever they have to do to get themselves a weapon," he said.

We are probably going to have to destroy 30 facilities in 30 locations. Or at least 15," he said.

Well lets get to it. What are we waiting on an invitation. That is one invitation I don't wan't.

Richard Belzer Says Troops Too Ignorant To Express Support For Iraq War!!!

Another Hollywood actor who has no idea what he is talking about. Richard Belzer says 19 and 20 year old U.S. troops couldn't get a job and are just too uneducated to be expressing support for the war. And why is that? Because they don't read 20 newspapers a day. So, I guess the fact that they actually lived and experienced the war first hand is not education enough. So all you supporters of the war...start reading. At least Bill Maher had enough sense to distant himself from these ridiculous comments by telling Belzar "your even loosing me with that one"

It's The New Proposed Guest Worker Permit Driver's License......

It is called the greengo im never going home card... Don't leave Mexico without it.

More Thoughts On Illegal Immigration.

This is a half a million people who marched in protest to proposed immigration reform. This is also the number of illegal immigrants that break the law and invade this country each year and yes it is an invasion, I will explain in a moment. It is estimated that 11- 12 million of them are already here. Not all, but way too many are driving up the costs of our society through crime, their attitude of entitlement, and a flagrant disregard for the law, which is how they got here in the first place.

I call this an invasion because you have a group of people that crossed the border illegally and are now demanding the same equal rights, entitlements, and protection under the laws of the United States even though they are not citizens of and they are currently breaking the laws of the United States.

Some of the protestors carried signs and chanted “today we march tomorrow we vote.” One of the protesters referred to the war between Mexico and the United States that claimed the South West for America and said: “We are taking back what has always been rightfully ours, we are coming back to our home, and we are going to vote all of you out.”

Here is a quote from some rapper named Jorge Ruiz: “We construct your schools. We cook your food. We are the motor of this nation, but people don’t see us. Blacks and whites, they had their revolution. They had their Martin Luther King. Now it is time for us.”

Another protester exclaimed: “we don’t deserve to be treated like criminals, we are immigrants not criminals.” Well, if you are here legally then you won’t be treated like a criminal unless you break the law. If you are here illegally then you broke the law, and guess what, that makes you a criminal. Clear and simple, case closed. We have over 11 million people that have come illegally, they have chosen to break the law and are criminals, so what are we going to do about?

Well, after decades of trying to ignore the issue the Senate says they are ready to do something about it. The House has already passed a bill that would make being here illegally a felony; it puts new penalties on employers who hire illegal immigrants and also requires them to run Social Security numbers through the government before hiring anyone. It would also require churches to check the legal status of the immigrants that they help and it increases penalties for people who come back after being deported.

New provisions are trying to be added to the bills that would offer amnesty to the illegal immigrants already here. They would have to pay a fine of some sort and then be legal. Of course they are not calling it amnesty; the politicians have come up with catchy phrases like a “path to citizenship,” or “guest worker program.” But to offer amnesty is to award the criminal act and punish the ones following the law is it not?

Legal immigration is a long drawn out process, filled with a lot of paper work, documentations, and bureaucratic red tape. Many people are still waiting and have been waiting a long time for their turn to come to the United States Legally. By awarding amnesty, or providing a path to citizenship, or a guest worker program, or whatever else you want to call it for 11 million illegal immigrants is like letting them cut in line. It rewards and justifies criminal behavior and punishes the legal actions of others trying to immigrate here legally. I just don’t agree with this whole amnesty deal. Sorry, but these illegal immigrants have been committing a crime. Go to the end of the line and start over.

With all the protests you would have thought that we were actually going to let the border patrol and the INS do their jobs. You would have thought that we were actually going to seal off the border, send INS agents door to door with rifles locked and loaded asking for green cards, like we are going to round up all 11 million people and deport them. But isn’t that what we should already be doing, enforcing the laws that we already have? What a concept.

But to support any idea of trying to fight illegal immigration or to support any illegal immigration reform that doesn’t lead to amnesty for the ones already here is being portrayed as being a racist, a bigot, and mean spirited.

Some members of the main stream media and elected officials are framing the issue as racist and immoral. News stories about organized protests are full of quotes from the illegal immigrants, calling those demanding reform “xenophobic,” and accusing them of “picking on the weakest” in society who have “built this country.”

Senate Democrat minority leader Harry Reid promises a filibuster, unless immigration reform also includes “a path to citizenship,” which means amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton accused House Republicans of passing legislation that would “criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus Himself.

Whatever that is suppose to mean…Anyways, I don’t know about you, but I am a little tired of being called a racist bigot with no morality every time I turn around for simply expecting people to follow the laws of our land and expect our laws to be enforced. Is that to much to ask???

The New Proposed Symbol of the Republican Party!!!!!
It's time the Republicans change the symbol of their party to better represent who the they are. I think this one will do just fine... The second choice might be a condom because it gives you a false sense of security while you get screwed!!! Of course the Democrats should continue to use the Jack Ass.

Tony's Monday Morning Rant:Illegal Immigration Reform Protest.

New segment at MTCW. Since I am not going to blog on the weekends anymore I find myself building up steam over the weekend. So to open the release valve and blow off some steam here is Tony's Monday Morning Rant: Warning the following comments are the written expressed rage of the author right off the top of his head... proceed with caution.

Did you see all the protesters in the streets over the weekend??? 500,000 in L.A. alone protesting illegal immigration reform... Out there waving there Mexican flags... I can't but help and wonder how many of them were illegal aliens...oh wait...my bad, illegal immigrants, can't say aliens anymore. My guess is quite a few, if not most of them were illegal immigrants. Breaking our laws to be here but hey that doesn't matter. The rule of law doesn't matter anymore. If it did matter these people would not have been on the street protesting because they would have been to scared to show up in fear of being deported. Why are we allowing this??? Where is our law enforcement agencies, they are suppose to be enforcing the laws of the land. Where is the President??? Part of his job as President under the provisions of the constitution is to ensure the laws of the land are enforced... But then again, screw the constitution, no one follows it anymore anyways right??? This may very well be the time in our country that we will all look back on and say this was the begining of the end of the greatest nation ever handed over to free men.

One of the biggest arguements in favor of "amnesty" otherwise known as the "guest worker program," is that there are too many of them already here, there are no way that We could round them all up and deport all of them. We don’t know where they are… Really…looks to me there were hundreds of thousands of them condensed into one area to protest this weekend, illegally I may add this weekend. We could have started checking people for green cards right there. No green cards then they are out of here. These people are breaking the law all before everyone’s very eyes. I don’t understand what is so hard to understand about that.

President Bush keeps saying that we need these immigrants to keep our economy going because they do the work that Americans will not do. Why won’t Americans do the work??? I will tell you why. It is because the United States Government promotes laziness through government entitlements and the welfare system. You don’t think so??? You need to look no further than the Hurricane Katrina victims. Most of them were dependent on government before Hurricane Katrina and have never been self sufficient a day in their life. These people have not done one thing to improve their situations or their lives on their own. They lived in hotel rooms paid for by the tax payers and government housing for over six months and they continue to just sit back, wait and expect the government to provide shelter and take care of them. Their whole lives have been nothing more than relying on a dependency of government from the cradle and will continue too the grave. Let me tell you that a lot of these illegal immigrants have learned rather quickly that they can hop on the welfare gravy train as well.

Another argument I continue to hear is, well we need them to help keep prices low. If we don’t let them work here we will be paying 10 dollars for a bag of oranges. My friends, we are already paying 10 dollars for a bag of oranges.

We are paying to educate illegal immigrant’s kids in our public school systems. These children make it even harder and add additional stress to an already failing public school system because they do not know the language. The quality of education is lowered so that they can learn at the same pace. Our economy of the future will pay dearly for it.

We are paying additional healthcare cost for illegal immigrants, and additional costs in welfare and other entitlement programs.

We are paying for it in increased crime as well. 29% of all the inmates in prison in the US are illegal immigrants. That is 29% more prison space for sex offenders, drug dealers, and other felons that get lighter sentencing because prisons are overcrowded.

Look, I support immigration, legal immigration. I don’t believe in building a wall and never letting anyone in again. I come from a family of immigrants just like everyone else. Unless you’re Native American your roots come from some other country. Some families have been here for generations others have not. My mother is Mexican, born and raised in Jalisco State, Mexico but she didn’t break the laws of the United States when she came here either. She came to the US legally, learned the language, became a US citizen, got her GED, went to Junior College and lived the American Dream. She, I, and several other Americans ask that other immigrants who wish to come here respect the laws of our land, come here legally, and take full advantage of the opportunities that awaits them.

Getting To Know The Enemy, Shocking Piece From A Real Expert.

Here is a spine chilling, almost scary speech about our enemies from Bridgette Gabriel, a Christian Lebanese American, who lived through civil war in Lebanon.

This is a speech that she gave at the Intelligence Summit at the Hyatt Regency, Crystal City Arlington, VA on February 18, 2006.

It was sent to me by e-mail and I tried to verify it at snopes and other hoax finding sites but it is fairly new and couldn't find anything. So, I did my own homework and have verified this shocking story to be true. I have posted the links at the bottom that I used to verify this speech as accurate.

Dear Friends,

We gather here today to share information and knowledge. Intelligence is not merely cold hard data about numerical strength or armament or disposition of military forces. The most important element of intelligence has to be understanding the mindset and intention of the enemy. The west has been wallowing in a state of ignorance and denial for thirty years as Muslim extremist perpetrated evil against innocent victims in the name of Allah. I was ten years old when my home exploded around me burying me under the rebel drinking my blood to survive as the perpetrators shouted Allahu Akbar. My only crime was that I was a Christian living in a Christian town. I learned at 10 years old the meaning of the word infidel. I had a crash course in survival not in girl scouts, but in a bomb shelter where I lived for seven years in pitch darkness, freezing cold, drinking stale water and eating grass to live. At the age of 13 I dressed in my burial clothes going to bed at night waiting to be slaughtered and by the age of 20 I had buried most of my friends who were killed by Muslims. We were not Americans living in New York, or Britons in London, we were Arab Christians living in Lebanon.

As a victim of Islamic terror, I was amazed when I saw Americans waking up on September 12th 2001 asking themselves Why do they hate us? The psychoanalyst experts were coming up with all sort of excuses as to what did we do to offend the Muslim World? If America and the west were paying attention to the Middle East they would not have had to even ask the question. Simply put, they hate me and you because we are defined in their eyes by one simple word, infidels.

Under the banner of Islam la, ilaha illa allah, muhammad rasoulu allah, there is no God but Allah, Muhammad is his prophet, they murdered Jewish children in Israel, massacred Christians in Lebanon, killed Copts in Egypt, Assyrians in Syria, Hindus in India, and expelled almost 900,000 Jews out of Muslim lands. We Middle Eastern infidels paid the price then and for their indifference and shortsightedness infidels worldwide are paying the price now.

Tolerating evil is a crime. Appeasing murderers doesn't buy protection, it earns disrespect and loathing in the enemy's eyes. Apathy is the weapon by which the west is committing suicide. Political correctness is the shackles around our ankles by which Islamists are leading us to our demise.

America and the West are doomed to failure in this war unless they stand up and identify the real enemy. Islam. You hear about Wahabbi and Salafi Islam as the only extreme form of Islam. All the other Muslims are wonderful moderates. I hope the pictures of the irrational eruption of violence from around the world in reaction to the caricatures of Mohammed from burning embassies, to calls to butcher those who mock Islam, or to warnings to be prepared for the real holocaust, has given you a glimpse into the real face of the enemy. The news pictures and video of these events represents a canvas of hate decorated by different nationalities who share one common ideology of hate, bigotry and intolerance derived from one source. Authentic Islam. An Islam that is awakening from centuries of slumber to re-ignite its wrath against the infidel and dominate the world. An Islam which has declared Intifada on the West.

Our leaders and politicians bend backward and forward going out of their way to tell us how sweetly wonderful Islam is and that most Muslims are moderate. That only few radicals have hijacked this unbelievably sweet poetry called the Koran and are trying to twist it to do harm. America and the west can no longer afford to lay in their lazy state of overweight ignorance. The consequences of this mental disease are starting to attack the body and if they don't take the necessary medical steps now to control it, death will be knocking soon.

If you want to understand the nature of the enemy we face, visualize a tapestry of snakes. They slither and they hiss, and they would eat each other alive, but they will unite in a hideous mass to achieve their common goal of imposing Islam on the world. This is the ugly face of the enemy we are fighting.

We are fighting a powerful ideology that is capable of altering human basic instincts. An ideology that can turn a mother into a launching pad of death. A perfect example is a recently elected Hamas official in the Palestinian Territories who raves in heavenly joy about sending her three sons to death and offering the ones who are still alive for the cause. It is an ideology that is capable of offering highly educated individuals such as doctors, and lawyers far more joy in attaining death than any respect and stature, life in society is ever capable of giving them.
Today, radical Islam’s war rages in varying degrees of intensity throughout the world, not just against Christians and Jews in the west, but also against Hindus, Buddhists, Copts, indeed all non-Muslim infidels. Their degree of zealotry even has them attacking other denominations within Islam itself. Islamic radicals are instigating and perpetuating terrorist campaigns, insurgencies, civil wars, minority suppression, ethnic cleansing and/or genocide in 47 countries around the world. Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chad, Chechnya, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Spain, Great Britain, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, The united States, Israel, Kashmir, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Netherlands to name a few. The rest of the world is held hostage to fear.

From Saudi-funded madrassas and mosques worldwide, to the parliament of Iran, to the cabals of al Qaeda and Hezbollah, radical Islamists have repeatedly declared and demonstrated that their goal is to impose Islamic rule throughout the world, by the sword or by the suicide bomb. Numerous radical Islamic scholars have declared that it is every Muslim’s religious duty to dominate or exterminate all infidels. And you don't have to take my word about it. Just read what they write and listen to what they say because that is what they are going to do. Simply read and listen.

The United States has been a prime target for radical Islamic hatred and terror. Every Friday, mosques in the Middle East ring with shrill prayers and monotonous chants calling death, destruction and damnation down on America and its people. The radical Islamists’ deeds have been as vile as their words. Since the Iran Hostage crisis, more than three thousand Americans have died in a terror campaign almost unprecedented in its calculated cruelty along with thousands of other citizens worldwide. Even the Nazis did not turn their own children into human bombs, and then rejoice at their deaths as well the deaths of their victims. This intentional, indiscriminate and wholesale murder of innocent American citizens is justified and glorified in the name of Islam.

And yet, there are still Americans who are unable or unwilling to recognize the nature or the extent of the threat presented by radical Islam. Whether motivated by naïve wishful thinking or rigid political correctness, they assert that Islam is a moderate, tolerant and peaceful religion that has been hijacked by extremists. They ignore the repeated calls to jihad, Islamic holy war, emanating from the government-controlled mosques of so-called moderate Islamic countries such as Egypt, Pakistan and Indonesia. They refuse to accept that in the Muslim world, EXtreme is MAINstream.

America cannot effectively defend itself in this war unless and until the American people understand the nature of the enemy that we face. Even after 9/11 there are those who say that we must engage our terrorist enemies, that we must address their grievances. Their grievance is our freedom of religion. Their grievance is our freedom of speech. Their grievance is our democratic process where the rule of law comes from the voices of many not that of just one prophet. It is the respect we instill in our children towards all religions. It is the equality we grant each other as human beings sharing a planet and striving to make the world a better place for all humanity. Their grievance is the kindness and respect a man shows a woman, the justice we practice as equals under the law, and the mercy we grant our enemy. Their grievance cannot be answered by an apology for who or what we are.
Our mediocre attitude of not confronting Islamic forces of bigotry and hatred wherever it raised its ugly head in the last 30 years, has empowered and strengthened our enemy to launch a full scale attack on the very freedoms we cherish in their effort to impose their values and way of life on our civilization. So do not ask what did we do to make them hate us but ask where originally they get their hatred from?

The Muslims believe the Koran is the word of God revealed through their prophet Muhammad. The Hadith, or Traditions, are reports of the words and actions of Muhammad. Shari’a is Islamic law, as it developed under the Koran and Hadith. For those of us who's first language is Arabic and are able to read the language they are written in, we can understand completely where all the hatred and bigotry is coming from. Their sacred obligation to impose Islam upon the entire world evidenced by their hatred and animosity towards non-believers is not a distortion of Islam, nor is it the creation of a few extremists who have hijacked an allegedly peaceful and tolerant religion. It is the underlying theme of the Koran and the Hadith.

In the Koran and in the Hadith, Jihad is very clearly understood as waging war. It is a military term known throughout the Middle East as one of the basic commandments of the Islamic faith and it must be waged until the whole world accepts Islam or submits to the rule of Sharia Law.

Throughout the Koran and Hadith, harb and qital (war and killing or slaughter) are ordained by Allah as the unavoidable and immutable punishment for refusing to convert or submit to Islam.

Moderate Muslims, and apologists and propagandists for Islam, will attempt to deny or obscure the real meaning, nature and intent of jihad. Some will say that jihad means only a Muslim's inner struggle to be a better person. Others will acknowledge that Muslims have a religious duty to spread Islam throughout the world, but insist that it is to be spread only peacefully, through dawah - literally the call - meaning persuasion and reasoning. Finally, some will go so far as to admit that it can also mean warfare, but insist that in Islam warfare is allowed only in self-defense or against oppression. However, all of these assertions are examples of a tactic that Islam encourages in waging jihad called: taqiyya or kithman - lying, deception, deceit. Muslims are encouraged to lie if, in the subjective opinion of the liar, telling the lie will be good for Islam.

Since the sacred goal of jihad is to make Islam supreme in this world, every lie told to achieve that goal is not only permitted, but sanctified. Therefore it is good for Islam that the infidel should be kept ignorant of the true meaning of jihad.

If the Islamic principle of taqiyya were limited to theological discussion and disputation between Muslims and infidels, it would be of little interest to members of the intelligence community. However, the practice of taqiyya has both strategic and tactical implications in the war against Islamic terror. Because Islam has declared itself to be in a perpetual state of jihad against infidels, according to the principle of taqiyya, peace itself is used as a deception. A truce or a treaty with an infidel remains in force only so long as it is beneficial or advantageous to Islam. This is what every intelligence professional must understand in formulating any risk assessment, negotiating strategy or policy analysis regarding the threat of Islamic terror.

It is certain that there are genuinely moderate Muslims, perhaps a substantial number, who do not seek to impose Islam on America and the world through violent jihad. However, they are conspicuous by their silence regarding the more problematic doctrines of Islam. To the extent that most so-called moderate Muslim leaders and lobbying organizations in the United States even address the issue, they offer nothing more than vague, tepid condemnations of terrorist violence and heated denials that the behavior of Islamic terrorists have any connection with Islam, frequently accompanied by an unhealthy dose of taqiyya to protect Islam.

We are fighting an enemy that as much as it hides behind lies, it hides behind obfuscation. It is an enemy in disguise that doesn't wear a uniform. It is an enemy that hides behind political correctness and lives in our midst. It is an enemy that hides behind normal civility and the instinct of self-preservation that thrives to die just to kill us.

This army doesn't work independently but is supported and protected by a community and a neighborhood. It is suicidal to label any Islamic community as moderate because it is this same community that protected, supported and shielded the extremists and made their suicide operation possible. I know the Middle East and Middle Eastern culture and how Middle Eastern communities are so well connected. It is not an American community on American soil. It is a minority community that just changed geography yet still practices Middle Eastern cultures and customs.

Nothing can go on in a vacuum because in Middle Eastern societies there is no vacuum. Everyone knows everything about everyone. Walk into any city USA and go straight to the Arabic grocery store and ask about anyone in the Arabic community and they will know them and know details about them that will shock any American. The Islamic community in the United States knows a lot and has a lot of information to give to authorities about the numerous terrorist cells that exist inside our country.

If we don't wake up and challenge our Muslims community to take action against the terrorists within it, if we don't believe in ourselves as Americans and in the standards we should hold every patriotic American to, we are going to pay a price for our shortsighted delusion.

For the sake of our children and our country, we must wake up and take action. In the face of a torrent of hateful invective and terrorist murder, America’s learning curve since the Iran hostage crisis is so shallow that it is almost flat. The longer we lay supine, the more difficult it will be to stand erect.

NASCAR: Now That's What Racin Used To Be Like.

Wild Ride At Bristol: Tempers Boil Over as Gordon and Kenseth Fight After Race...

Officials crowd around Jeff Gordon, top left, after getting in a fight with Matt Kenseth (in front ot the #17 car) at the end of the NASCAR Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway Sunday, March 26, 2006 in Bristol, Tenn. Kenseth spun Gordon out who was running 3rd on the final lap. Gordon finished 21st.

Darrell Waltrip, who has done his share of driving at the Bristol Motor Speedway and is the all time winningst driver at the track with 12 wins, now a NASCAR commentator for FOX Sports has often said: "Bring your feelings to Bristol you just might leave with them hurt." I think its safe to say that you can take the "just might" out and replace it with "will."

It was a wild ride at Bristol the cars looked more like they had been in a demolition derby instead of a race and the drivers tempers boiled over to make them act more like professional wrestlers of the WWE than race car drivers with their post race behavior. The only driver with a smile on his face was Kurt Busch who picked up his 5th Bristol victory on another controversial bump and pass. But what do you expect after 500 miles and over 5 hours of smashing, banging, bending metal, and wrecking cars that lead to cursing, shoveing, displeasure and frustration between drivers. They don't call the Bristol Race sheet metal mayhem for nothing.

So how did we get to this point and who is mad at who??? In no particular order:

Matt Kenseth is mad at Kurt Busch: Busch pulled the old Bristol bump and pass on for the lead and the win. This almost caused Kenseth to spin out with about 5 laps to go. Kenseth was being held up by Dale Jarrett who was battling to stay on the lead lap. Afterward, Busch thought his former teammate would be OK with the bump-and-run. Kenseth was unamused and called the move a "cheap shot.''

"The only thing I know for sure is that if the roles would have been reversed, I absolutely would not have done that to him,'' Kenseth said.

But hold on a second...If that is the case then Kenseth needs to explain his bump and run on Jeff Gordon 4 laps later. Which leads us to:

Jeff Gordon is mad at Matt Kenseth: Kenseth lost 2 spots saving his car after being bumped by Busch. Gordon was running in third and passed Kenseth. Kenseth tried to get the spot back and bumped Gordon out of the way. Gordon spun out, and went from having a 3rd place finish to having a 21st place finish. After the race Kenseth went over to Gordon on pit road in what he says to apologize for the accident. Gordon, still in his helmet, uncharacteristically shoved Kenseth knocking him back on his heels before the pair was separated. Fines for his road rage are sure to follow - but I'm sure Gordon's check is not going to bounce.

"I showed him my displeasure," Gordon said of the shove. "I get fired up, too." Yes, even the Rainbow Warrior can morph into the "Road Warrior" under the frustrations of Bristol.

Kevin Harvick is still mad at Kurt Busch: Of course Harvick was mad at Busch since last weeks altercation at Atlanta. In a press conference this week, Harvick said he wished he could "whup" Busch's ass, and then said he shouldn't have said that. Harvick shot back at the press conference and commented that Roger Penske would regret hiring Busch saying that Busch would make a fool out of him before the year was over, which he then followed by saying he shouldn't have said that. At the end of the race, Busch beat Harvick to the line. It left me wishing there were about 10 more laps left to see what would have transpired... Harvick said after the race"I'm not going to take it out on the race cars when we are on the track," Harvick said of Busch, still seething about being taken out by Busch last week at Atlanta. "If I have to, I will take it out on him. He took a cheap shot at me last week, and that isn't something that goes over well." I still think it would have been different with 10 laps to go.

But even with his second-place finish, "Happy" which is Harvick's nickname seemed to be lacking in the smiles department.

Martin Truex Jr. is mad at Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart: Truex, a rookie, was a lap down and was not yielding to Gordon, who was on the lead lap. The situation was stacking up traffic, so Gordon bumped him out of the way. Truex spun and had to pit.

After he was back on the track, Truex met up with Gordon again. The two traded paint side by side as it appeared that Truex was trying to even the score with Gordon in front of Stewart for a couple laps. Both nearly lost it a couple times. Apparently fed up with their grudge match and with traffic stacking up behind them, Stewart put his bumper to Truex, and sent him crashing into the wall. Truex and his crew chief made some vulgar comments on the radio that FOX had to apologize for and I will not repeat here.

After the race, Tony Stewart gave my favorite comment of the day. "If [Truex] wants to settle it, [we can] settle it in the bus lot later on," Stewart said of Truex's attempted retaliations.

What we saw at Bristol this weekend is what use to be your usual Sunday drive in the NASCAR circuit. This is what racin use to be like and it is what Bristol is and always will be. It's been that way ever since Jack Smith won the first race at Bristol Motor Speedway nearly 55 years ago under controversy because he was relieved half way through the race by Johnny Allen.

Sunday we had Kurt Busch win on a controversial bump and pass. But the bump and pass at Bristol is almost as legendary as the track itself. In recent years Jeff Gordon did it to Rusty Wallace in 2002 and the late Dale Earnhardt did it to Terry Labonte in 1999 on the last lap.

"I wasn't trying to wreck him, I just wanted to rattle his cage a little bit,'' Earnhardt shrugged that night.

The Gordon and Earnhardt bumps are hardly isolated incidents, but no driver has received treatment the way Busch has for doing the same thing. Kurt Busch's problems in the past and his reputation as arrogant and unlikeable, is held to a higher standard than everyone else. But no matter how sarcastic or whiney he can be, and no matter how much you dislike him, and it is no secret that I do. It's unfair treatment. On this particular Sunday Kurt Busch did everything right, and he's got the trophy to prove it.

Its The Pimped Out Short Bus!!!!

Rumsfeld Tells Reporter to Get a Life During Press Conference

The Bush Administration continues to shoot back and have a little fun with the press. I am enjoying every minute of this and felt they should have been doing this a long time ago. Anyways, a reporter asked Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld the most ridiculous question I have heard since the Reagan Administration. Rumsfeld told him to get a life. Here is the video, check it out it is hilarious.

Wife of Military Journalist Ask President Bush About Unfair Media In Iraq, Bush Replies: Spread Good News About Blogs And Internet Sites.

President Bush gave a speech in West Virginia that was open to the public this week. At the end of his speech he opened the floor for questions from the audience. A woman from Columbus, Ohio stood up and asked what can we do about the unfair media that will not report the good news that her husband, a military broadcast journalist, reported on from Iraq? (link to video)

TAYLOR: This is my husband who has returned from a 13-month tour in Tikrit, and he has brought back several DVDs full of wonderful footage of reconstruction, of medical things going on. And I ask you this from the bottom of my heart for a solution to this, because it seems that our major media networks don't want to portray the good. They just want to focus -- (Thunderous Cheers, applause and standing ovation.)

THE PRESIDENT: Okay, hold on a second.

West Virginia is traditionally a Democrat state as well, just so you know. But the applause just kept going on louder and then a standing ovation. It was so thunderous that President Bush actually had to quite the crowd down so the lady could continue speaking.

TAYLOR: They just want to focus on another car bomb. They just want to focus on some more bloodshed or they just want to focus on how they don't agree with you and what you're doing when they don't even probably know how you're doing what you're doing anyway. But what can we do to get that footage on CNN, on Fox, to get it on headline news, to get it on the local news. It portrays the good. And if people could see that, if the American people could see it, there would never be another negative word about this conflict.

THE PRESIDENT: One of the things that we've got to value is the fact that we do have a media, a free media that's able to do what they want to do. Just gotta keep talking and word-of-mouth, there's blogs, there's Internet, there's all kinds of ways to communicate, which is literally changing the way people are getting their information. And so if you're concerned, I would suggest that you reach out to some of the groups that are supporting the troops that have got Internet sites and just keep the word moving. And that's one way to deal with an issue without suppressing a free press. We will never do that in America. I know you're frustrated with what you're seeing, but there are ways in this new age of being able to communicate that you'll be able to spread the message that you want to spread.

Yes, my friends and the main stream media are threatened and scared by us, who counter attack their slanted view of the news.

Here is also a video of Gayle Taylor and her husband on CNN with Adam Cooper. Adam Cooper asks the ridiculous question of how should we determine which story to cover between a bomb goes off killing a bunch of people and a bridge being built somewhere else???? Gee…I don’t know…how about you report both stories.

Video links to this story came from: Expose The Left Check them out.

The Case For Iraqi WMDs, Al Qaeda and Saddam Connection, and Russian Involvement…

This is a very long read but very informative and most people will not read it in one setting like I did…but then again I am not most people…

I will not give any comments on this excellent piece of work other than all the evidence that has been found so far about Iraq’s WMDs, the Al Qaeda and Saddam Link, and Russia’s involvement is all documented here. So the next time one of your liberal friends tries to tell you that Bush lied about Iraq’s WMDs and there was no Al Qaeda and Saddam link direct them to this story.

The Tolerant Peaceful Religion Of Islam!!!

Almost immediately following the 9-11 attacks we were told and continue to be told that the Islam religion is a religion of peace and tolerance. That Islam is not the enemy but rather a bunch of fundamentalist Islam extremist were the root of our problems...

Well sorry folks but I just do not see it. Take your pick of the inhumane acts committed by, do I dare say Muslims over the past couple of years…

· Muslims fly commercial airliners into buildings in New York City. No Muslim outrage.·

Muslim officials block the exit where school girls are trying to escape a burning building because their faces were exposed. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslims cut off the heads of three teenaged girls on their way to school in Indonesia. A Christian school. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslims murder teachers trying to teach Muslim children in Iraq. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslims murder over 80 tourists with car bombs outside cafes and hotels in Egypt. No Muslim outrage.

· A Muslim attacks a missionary children's school in India. Kills six. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslims slaughter hundreds of children and teachers in Beslan, Russia. Muslims shoot children in the back. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslims murder more than 50 commuters in attacks on London subways and busses. Over 700 are injured. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslim newspapers publish anti-Semitic cartoons. No Muslim outrage·

Muslims are involved, on one side or the other, in almost every one of the 125+ shooting wars around the world. No Muslim outrage.

· Muslims beat the charred bodies of Western civilians with their shoes, then hang them from a bridge. No Muslim outrage.

So now we have yet another example of just how peaceful and tolerant this religion is. In Afghanistan there is a man on trial and he faces the death penalty. What is his crime?

Did he kill some one? No... Did he rape someone??? No. His crime is that he converted to Christianity!!!

The Supreme Court judges in Afghanistan said "We are not against any particular religion in the world. But in Afghanistan, this sort of thing is against the law. It is an attack on Islam. The prosecutor is asking for the death penalty." That's right...an attack on Islam. Once again, the extreme core of that violent religion is exposed for all to see: all non-believers must be killed.

Surley the Muslim community in this country will find a microphone somewhere and speak out against this outrage... but I am not holding my breath.

The Islamic religion has been hijacked by extremist who have inflicted death, destruction and violent crimes against humanity around the world at the hands of Muslims .. no Muslim outrage ..Muslims rioting in France...Muslims rioting all over the world, over a cartoon. Muslims taking hostages in Iraq and sawing their heads off.

It just hasn't been a good few of years of public relations for the followers of Allah. Is it any wonder the majority of Americans has a bad outlook on their religion.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but so far all terrorists have been Muslim...

I should put that on a bumper sticker or something...

AIRBORNE PARATROOPER BATHROOM!!!!

Don't forget to hook up your static line before using... All OK Jumpmaster!!!

Bush Finally Shoots Back At Media In Press Conference.

Yes, now this is leadership, this is what we need in a President... President George W. Bush held a suprise press conference yesterday at the White House and he came out shooting at the media attacks point by point. You can watch or read the the whole thing here. Here are some highlights:

On a time line for withdrawing from Iraq, you can forget it about it. He said that decision will be made by future presidents. In other words, there is still a lot of work that remains in Iraq and it just doesn't look like it will be finished while he is still in office.

On whether Donald Rumsfeld should resign, you can forget about it as well. Bush on Rummy: "I don't believe he should resign. He's done a fine job. Every war plan looks good on paper until you meet the enemy." So, Rumsfeld is safe. So is everyone else on his staff, Bush says he has surrounded hisself with people who are dedicated to serving the country and he is happy with there hard work.

On the economy: "Productivity is strong. Inflation is contained. Household net worth is at an all-time high." He's absolutely right. Don't forget low unemployment, 4.8% last month. It is the best economy we have had in years. Better than Clinton but the main stream news would never report that. Thats why you haven't heard any stories about the economy of late.

So in other words, the President bacically told the media and the left to shove it... I am not changing my mind, we are not leaving Iraq and no one is going anywhere.

Of course the best part of the press conference was when President Bush called on Helen Thomas for the first time in over a year. Now in case you don't know who Helen Thomas is, she's considered the dean of the White House press corps. She's been there longer than anyone else, and it shows, or as Ron White would say, things that make you go BLRRRRUGH!!!!

Helen is a liberal, not just your average liberal either. She's a hardcore leftist that makes Michael Moore look like a centrist. She also hates George W. Bush with a passion. So Bush has ignored her. At one point, he moved her chair from the front row to the back. Helen didn't like that very much and called Bush a "coward" for doing it.

So anyway, she finally gets to ask President Bush a question, and here was her question:

Helen Thomas: "I'd like to ask you, Mr. President, your decision to invade Iraq has caused the deaths of thousands of Americans and Iraqis, wounds of Americans and Iraqis for a lifetime. Every reason given, publicly at least, has turned out not to be true. My question is, why did you really want to go to war? From the moment you stepped into the White House, from your Cabinet -- your Cabinet officers, intelligence people, and so forth -- what was your real reason? You have said it wasn't oil -- quest for oil, it hasn't been Israel, or anything else. What was it?"Bush handled his response well...and at one point said she was just flat wrong he had to interrupt her four times to get in his answer in... You just have to see it for your self to get the whole Helen Thomas experience... Here is a video of it from ExposeThe Left.

He should call on her more... I am looking forward to seeing many more press conferences like this one.

Poll Numbers Fail To Match Anti War Protester Attendance After 3 Years In Iraq.

Well, we hit the much-publicized 3 year anniversary of the invasion of Iraq and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein this week. If you believe the media, Iraq is a lost cause...a failed adventure that has erupted in civil war. The left's prescription for what's happening over there: we should just get out, bring the troops home. According to the media and their so called polls the American people agrees with them and they were going to show us this weekend when they hit the streets to protest the war.

Headlines leading up to the weekend read: Tens of Thousands Plan to Protest Iraq War. How disappointed they must have been to find that most rallies didn’t even have an attendance of over a thousand. Only 200 showed up in New York City, 800 in Japan, 1000 in Toronto and Hollywood. Here in Fayetteville they had close to a thousand which was 3000 less than was expected. One of the organizers said the poor turnout was “an example of plain American apathy, people would rather be out working in their yards.” Maybe, that is because they just do not agree with your anti-war message.

For months now we have had poll after poll telling us that the American people no longer support the Iraq war. Then we have an organized campaigned effort to protest the war and the poll numbers just don’t match the number of protesters. Who are they polling??? They have never polled me; in fact I don’t know anyone that they have polled and I have asked several of people and have yet to find anyone that has been polled. So who are they polling???

One thing is for sure; who ever they are polling they believe their numbers. They were so sure of their numbers they honestly thought that tens of thousands were going to come out this weekend and express their shared hatred for this President and the war and after they didn’t show up the media still believe their poll numbers and they run this headline: Quite Disapproval of Bush Marks Third Anniversary. They still think there is this hatred for Bush and the war. They just can’t accept the reality of what is going on.

The fact of the matter is for 3 years now the media has been trying to turn public opinion against this war the same way they turned public opinion against the Vietnam War and they have not been able to do it. No matter how hard they try they just can not get an anti-war movement going like they did during the Vietnam Era.

During the Vietnam War when the poll numbers where like the ones we have now the protesters matched the poll numbers. There were protests everyday, college campuses had to be shut down across the country there were so many of them. Today we had more college kids give up their spring break to help out in the aftermath of Katrina in the Gulf States than we did go to an anti-war rally and the media just can not accept it.

American Deaths over the Last Three Years Put in Perspective with Iraq War.

• Auto Accidents: 120,000
• Falling Down: 45,000
• Poisoning: 27,000
• Drowning: 12,000
• War in Iraq: 2,300

I ran across these numbers while reading over the weekend and just felt that this just really put the Iraq War into perspective. Before I continue, let me just say that every death is a tragedy but that is what happens in war, people die on the battle field. Now let’s compare the numbers of Americans dieing on the battle field in Iraq to the number of Americans dieing at home.

We have had 2,300 US soldiers killed in Iraq in the three years that we have been there. The media and anti-war crowd have been using the death toll to try and gain momentum for their agenda. The story that is not being told in all of this, and it is because they do not want to tell it, is the brilliant success in this war that has reduced the battle field death toll significantly compared to past wars. Less than 800 a year for three years of ground combat is unbelievable success in military history. In fact, it is the lowest casualty rate out of any long term ground operation in the history of the world. But the media will not report it that way because they live in this “one death is one death to many” mind-set, plus it just doesn’t fit the bad news for Bush template.

Another thing about the casualty rate is that it is decreasing. So far March will be the second lowest casualty rate since the war began. In March the casualty rate has been about one a day. Compare that to over 3 a day in October, every month since November it was over 2 a day, and in February it was 2 a day. So the casualty rate has been dropping and the media and the left have taken notice of this as well. We had the daily death toll report from them when we got close to a thousand. They just couldn’t wait to report 1000 deaths, then it was 1500, then it was 2,000, and then the rate began to drop off. Soldiers were not dieing fast enough for the bad news for Bush crew anymore. They had to come up with another attack line. So now it is, Iraq is in civil war, suicide bombers are killing Iraqis at will and creating chaos in the streets, and all hope has been lost their, Bush is a failure and we just need to get out.
Okay, back to the numbers now: during the last three years of the Iraq war, we have lost 2,300 soldiers, America lost 120,000 of its citizens in automobile deaths, an average of 40,000 a year. So we've lost 120,000 citizens in car crashes the last three years versus 2,300 in a ground war in Iraq. Forty-five thousand Americans died from injuries sustained when they fell down. Twenty-seven-thousand people in these past three years died from poisons. Twenty-seven thousand Americans were poisoned to death!

Twelve thousand Americans over the last three years drowned. So water and the wheel have killed more Americans than insurgent mortar rounds and gun fire in Iraq. We lost 2,400 in the war. We've lost 12,000 by drowning. It seems to me that on the third anniversary of the Iraq invasion, we might want to take a moment to congratulate all of the generals and the battle planners for having the most effective land battle plan when it comes to preventing American casualties. This never seems to be put into perspective though.

Journalist Death Toll High In Iraq.

More journalists and media staffers have been killed during the Iraq war than during any conflict since World War II, Reporters Without Borders said Monday, the third anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.

A total of 84 reporters and media staffers have been killed in the Iraq war - including eight this year. That is more than the 63 journalists killed during 22 years of conflict in Vietnam, the statement said.

Perhaps the media should just pack up their cameras and pins and pull out of Iraq.

Oliver North Ways In On Third Anniversary of Iraq War

Here we are...the third anniversary of the invasion of Iraq is upon us, and Oliver North takes a look back at the initial invasion. He was there at the very beginning and shares some insight in a great must read column.

Here is just a sample of it below:

In the three years since coalition forces charged into Saddam's despotic fiefdom, it has become the norm to report stories of misfeasance, malfeasance and incompetence, rather than the good that American troops have done. An errant bomb warrants more ink and airtime than the well that was dug or the child who was rescued by a U.S. medic and nursed back to health. This is not simply a perception of imbalance -- it is reality in Iraq.

Since U.S. troops entered Iraq three years ago this week, the Iraqi people have held three nationwide elections, written and ratified a constitution and formed their first imperfect but democratically elected government. Yet, compare the number of Google or Lexis-Nexis entries for "Iraqi Elections" with the entries for "Abu Ghraib," and it is amply evident what American editors and publishers consider important news.

Steps Toward Unity In Iraq

So just how bad are things in Iraq? Is all hope lost? Well, believe it or not, columnist David Ignatius, who is definitely not a conservative, has been in Iraq and says things aren't so bad after all. And says there is hope for a peaceful Iraq. Interesting read.

What We Have Gained In 3 Years In Iraq.

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld takes on the doom and gloom crowd over Iraq and points out the good news. He says the terrorists are losing in Iraq and those who say otherwise are just repeating the words of Al-Qaeda.

He also points out the great job and progress the Iraqi Soldiers are making. He says there stepping up to the plate to fight for their country and are a valuable asset to the overall mission there.

He also says though there are those who will never be convinced that the cause in Iraq is worth the costs, anyone looking realistically at the world today -- at the terrorist threat we face -- can come to only one conclusion: Now is the time for resolve, not retreat. Couldn’t Agree more…

From Iraq’s Front Line, it looks like the media has lost the plot.

Not only is the media ignoring the good news in Iraq, but one soldier even goes so far as to say what is being reported bears absolutely no resemblance to what is happening on the ground. Another Must Read On Iraq.

Increasing Our Credit Limit Again... Republicans Have Become Borrow And Spend Liberals

Pop Quiz: Who is the biggest-spending president in the history of the United States of America? Ask this question and you are likely to get a answer of FDR, LBJ, or Bill Clinton. Nope, not even close. The correct answer would be, President George Walker Bush. That is right; President George W. Bush is the biggest spending president in history and that is even after taking away the expense of the War on Terror. Ronald Reagan must be spinning in his grave at the amount of money being spent by the federal government.

In the past Republican presidents really didn’t have a choice when it came to spending. Constitutionally, Congress appropriates every dollar. They are the ones that controlled the spending. So if there were big deficits or huge increases in spending, it was easy to blame the Democrats who controlled the house and Senate. They ran the show on The Hill for decades, but that is just not the case anymore.

The Republican majority came to power after the 1994 midterm elections. Running on a platform of reduced spending, balanced budgets, and smaller government. For a while that is what we got, but in the decade since they have promptly doubled the size of the federal government. Worse, we now have a president that has not vetoed one spending bill since he took office. President Bush just signs bill after bill spending trillions of dollars… all on borrowed money.

So with these trillions of dollars being borrowed, the United States has to raise its own credit limit. We are now facing for the fourth time since President Bush took office a vote to do just that. They will vote to increase the debt limit by another $781 billion, to $9 trillion. That's right...nine trillion dollars, all of it borrowed. Simply amazing, can you imagine if you ran your family or business budget like the federal governments.

Limited government? Not this Republican Party, not anymore. The Republican Party has become nothing more than borrow and spend liberals which are no better than tax and spend liberals in my book. Just maybe the Libertarian Party will put down the joints and the Iraq war protest signs long enough to capitalize on the issue. I doubt it though.

US Navy Fights Islamic Pirates Off The Coast Of Somalia.

Here is another story about pirates attacking ships off the coast of Somalia. CNN reports that 2 US Navy ships skirmished with a group of pirates off the coast of Somalia, killing one and wounding five. No US Sailors were injured.

The news story also says that pirate hijackings are common off the eastern African coast and that they usually target UN World Food Program vessels carrying relief food for the millions of people affected by the drought.

Isn’t it interesting that the media did not identify Somalia as being an Al Qaeda Muslim strong hold and report that the pirates were Muslim? Uh, Oh….there is that forbidden “M” word. Were not allowed to identify them as Muslims any more, it might give the religion a bad name or something.

Anyways, this is nothing new off the coast of Africa. Muslim pirates have been attacking innocent vessels off the coast of Somalia for ages. As early as the 1800s Muslims of North Africa, known as the Barbary Pirates, were committing terrorist acts seizing American ships and cargo and selling the crews into slavery. They offered to stop only if America paid “tribute.”

An attempted peace treaty stated “that American Christians traveling with a nation that is at war with Tripoli, neither he nor his goods shall be taken.”

Of course Tripoli did not honor the treaty, as the Koran forbade making treaties with “infidels” so Thomas Jefferson sent in the Marines.

On February 16, 1804, in what Horatio Nelson described as the “most bold and daring act of the age,” LT Stephen Decatur sailed his ship, the Intrepid, at night into the pirate harbor of Tripoli, burned pirate ships and escaped unharmed under fierce enemy fire. The Marines then captured the Muslim stronghold and forced them to make peace on US terms.

Amazing the lessons you can learn from history. Of course they do not teach this stuff in schools.

Bush Reinstates Preemptive Action Policy.

Last week President Bush reinstated the doctrine of preemptive action. What does this actually mean? Well, it means he is sticking to his guns of attacking countries before they attack us. For an example, removing Saddam Hussein from power before he sold weapons of mass destruction to terrorists to be used against us was preemptive action.

So why did Bush bring this up? Iran. The situation with that Islamic extremist country is worse than it ever was with Iraq. Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism that has pledged to wipe Israel off the map and has vowed the destruction of the United States. Iran is also developing nuclear weapons and some say he could have them within months.

No matter what you might think about going to war with Iran, know this, Iran is already at war with us. The Islamic killers in Iraq are streaming across the border from Iran and are also being supplied by Tehran. So what are we going to do about it? Well, here is some clue. In a national security report released by the White House that was 49 pages long, George Bush wrote: "If necessary, however, under long-standing principles of self defense, we do not rule out the use of force before attacks occur -- even if uncertainty remains as to the time and place of the enemy's attack." It also says that the administration prefers diplomacy.

OK…But guess what folks??? Diplomacy hasn't worked with Iran, nor will it ever, just like it will never work with any Islamic extremist regime. Even UN sanctions seem unlikely to work, especially with China and Russia not supporting the idea. At this point, the only way it seems like we are going to stop Iran's nuclear weapons program is if we do it ourselves. And how do we do that?

By bombing their nuclear reactors, we know where they are. Somebody is going to have to do it. We might be able to get Israel to help us, but if not we have to do it ourselves, and the sooner the better.

More Evidence Of The Saddam Al Qaeda Link.

Liberals continue to tell us that there was no connection between Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden, and thus no reason for the Bush administration to invade Iraq. But as time marches on, there is more evidence to the contrary. More proof came in over the weekend of a relationship between Saddam and Al-Qaeda.

The Pentagon posted a document [pdf] online that was a letter from a member of Saddam's intelligence agency indicating that not only was Al-Qaeda cozy with Saddam, but also the Taliban. But it gets better.

The letter says Osama Bin Laden was in contact with Baghdad, and even mentions he may have visited. The documents also make mention and show a picture of our good buddy Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, leading Al-Qaeda terrorist in Baghdad.

So what does all of this prove? What I have been telling you all along: there was an active link between Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. Of course, Osama Bin Laden could be captured in downtown Baghdad, Iraq, with WMDs and Democrats still would never concede that Bush was right to invade that country.

Only Failure In Iraq Is The Media Can’t Get It Right.

Is Iraq in total disarray, about to descend into civil war and chaos? Nope...according to Ralph Peters, who just got back from Baghdad, the media has no idea what they're talking about. He says the conditions there are not rosy but it is far from civil war. He says the only failure that he saw was the media’s failure to accurately portray what is going on there and that he is much more optimistic about the situation then he was before he went.

Maybe We Should Have Treated Iraq Like Japan

No, I am not talking about the A bomb, although I sometimes feel a tougher and a more aggressive fight would have been better in Iraq. What I am talking about is writing their new constitution for them, and forbidding any form of religion as an element in government, while also forcing them to Westernize. Those elements were imposed by us on the defeated Japanese at the end of World War II and it saved their people, their nation and made them competitive with the rest of the civilized world. I bring this up because of a rather disturbing comment from Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani, who is the supreme religious authority for Shi’ite Muslims in Iraq. Here is a link to the comment reported by Healing Iraq Blog.

Sistani: "Gays Should Be Killed in Worst Way Possible."

His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani, the supreme religious authority for Shi'ite Muslims in Iraq and worldwide, decrees that gays and lesbians should be killed in the worst manner possible, according to this news article from a London-based gay rights group.

A quick search through Sistani's official website turns up this page, translated as:

Q: What is the judgment on sodomy and lesbianism?

A: "Forbidden. Those involved in the act should be punished. In fact, sodomites should be killed in the worst manner possible."

Just another example of the peaceful religion of Islam, but this is the problem in general with any Islamic regime. They can not separate their religious ideology from the rule of law and anyone that goes against the rule of Islam is punished by bloodshed. Now we're seeing it manifest in Iraq once again. If the Iraqi people can not accept religious freedom they may end up trading one Islamic dictator for another one. We had it right with Japan. It truly is a shame that we allowed the left to use political correctness and tolerance to limit our demands in writing their constitution and rebuilding the Iraqi government in fear of looking imperialistic. In doing so we may have put the safety and progress of all the Iraqi people in danger.

Bottoms up...and cheers to the Irish.

Good News From Iraq Continues To Be Ignored.

There are a lot of good stories coming out of Iraq that the Main Stream Media will simply not report. They would rather tell you made up stories about a non existent civil war instead. Many of these reporters never even leave their hotel rooms in the green zone until something blows up, then they run out and report it like this is what is happening 24/7 in Iraq.

Well, I prefer to get my news from Iraq from people who have actually been there away from the comfort of a hotel room. Actually out their everyday, 24/7 seeing what is really happening.

My friend just returned from Iraq. He says things are going a lot better than expected. The Iraqi Soldiers are making excellent progress and that they are now running over 65% of the operations in Iraq. He said that Iraqi troops are also doing an excellent job in joint operations with US troops as well. Here is what I found the most surprising about what he told me though. In some parts of Iraq 100% of all military operations have been turned over to the Iraqi Military. He says things are going so well that his unit came home 4 months ahead of schedule and several units staged to come into Iraq from Kuwait were sent home as well. The future looks good for Iraq.

Now that is some news you will never see in the Main Stream Media. My friend also gave me a website that reports on what is really going on in Iraq. This is where I will be getting a lot of my news from Iraq from now on. Here is your link to the webiste of the Multi-National Force-Iraq

Operation Swarmer: US Launches Massive Air Assault In Joint Operation With Iraqi Soldiers.

The US launched a massive Air and ground Assault in a joint operation with Iraqi troops yesterday. 1500 troops, 650 from the 101st Airborne and 850 Iraqi troops along with 50 war planes and 200 tactical vehicles swept the town of Samarra in the terrorists infested Sunni Triangle. It was one of the largest operations carried out in the 3 year war.

Lt. General Peter Chiarelli, commander of coalition forces in Iraq, shed some light on just how much progress has been made training the Iraqi military. The general stressed the operations was primarily conducted by Iraqi forces and said that such a joint mission wouldn’t have been possible 11 months ago.

The General also said that we can expect more operations like this in the coming months as US forces continue to hand over control of urban areas to Iraqi forces.

By the end of the Summer Iraqi forces are expected to have assumed complete operational control of 75% of Iraq. Currently the Iraqi forces have complete control of under 50 percent of Iraq.

Of course the main stream media had to throw in their Bush bashing question of the day: Do you think the timing and scale of this operation was politically motivated??? Let me translate: Was this operation ordered by the President because of his falling approval numbers and his falling support for his handling of the war???

Give me a break… This is why I despise the main stream media. First off you can’t just plan an operation like this in a matter of days or even weeks. This had to take some serious long term planning. Especially being a joint operation with Iraqi troops. Think of the language and cultural road blocks that had to be overcome to even consider an operation like this.

We are trying to win a war against Islamic terrorists and the media thinks it is all for political gain.

Anyways, the overall operation continues on but so far the operation appears to be pretty successful. They have found several weapons caches including 350 mortar rounds, 49 rocket propelled grenades, 14 rockets, six artillery rounds and uncovered a substantial amount of IED making materials.

They also have captured and detained 40 insurgents, in other words 40 terrorists, in the operation.

Bush Sets Iraqi Timeline: Iraqi troops To Take Over Most Of Iraq By End Of The Year.

For at least 2 years now the Bush administration has told us that setting a timeline for the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq would be a disastrous mistake. If we set a timeline the terrorists would simply just wait us out. But now it would seem that we have some sort of a timeline of when those troops are coming home.

In a speech a couple of days ago, the president vowed to turn over most of Iraq to Iraqi troops by the end of the year. So what happens now? There are only 9 months left in the year. Will the Iraqi police and soldiers be ready by then? Well, with the progress that we are seeing of late it would certainly not be out of the question. At some point we are just going to have to let the Iraqis fight their own battles and find out. We can't spend the rest of the century holding their hands and fighting for their countries liberation. So by 2007, we will have tossed them the keys and told them to make a go of it.

It's going to be a rough road ahead for the Iraq, especially with the left in this country and around the world, along with the mainstream media rooting for them to fail. Something tells me they will come out all right.

MTCW Picture Of The Day.

I am not quite sure what is going on here either but where are the animal rights activ ists when you need one? Maybe Howie thinks the kitten is Bush??? Just more proof that the man is nuts!!!

Bush's Low Approval Ratings Is Not About Iraq.

President Bush’s poll numbers are down. So, this week George Bush began a series of speeches to try and get his approval rating back up. It appears that his main focus to do this is going to be to talk about the war on terror and the Iraq War. We have seen this method before; the American people start to loose patience with the Iraq War, President Bush goes out and gives some speeches about it and the poll numbers go up.

However, I am just not sure that it is going to work this time. In my opinion, President Bush’s low approval rating has less to do with Iraq than he thinks it does. For me it has nothing to do with Iraq.

I have my differences with President Bush but not on Iraq. I am still a supporter of the Iraq War. Even if we never find a weapon of mass destruction I still support the war. Saddam Hussein was in direct violation of 3 UN resolutions. That alone gave us justification to dispose of him.

Also, no matter what the media wants to say, Saddam had direct links to Al Qaeda and would have re-started his weapons program the day the inspectors left. If we had not taken him out we would have paid the price in the long run.

But, right now if you were asked me whether I approve or disapprove of the way George Bush is handling his second term in office, my only honest answer would be not really. If I had the chance to spend the day with the President there are a few things I would like him to explain to me.

1. Why is it that he hasn't found one single bill worthy of a presidential veto during the past five years? Is this an indication that over the past five years the Congress of the United States hasn't passed one single solitary piece of legislation that George Bush considered to be contrary to the principles of our Constitution, or excessive in any way?

2. Why did he sign the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform act? Especially after he said that he thought the law was unconstitutional, but he signed it anyway. Now our right to political free speech is in serious jeopardy.

3. Why has government grown and spending increased faster during his administration than any other time in history. Why did he set all-time records for government spending increases during the first three years of his presidency? And that is not even counting the cost of the war.

4. Why on Earth did he team up with Ted Kennedy and come up with No Child Left Behind that doubled spending on the Department of Education, a Department Republicans had pledged to eliminate six years before he was elected. The spending hasn't helped. The quality of education has steadily decreased during the past six years and why hasn’t he ever mentioned anything about school vouchers? Something that he once said he was in favor of…

5. As the President of the United States how can you just sit back and watch the Supreme Court make a horrendous ruling in the Kelo v. New London case on eminent domain and not even comment on it. Not even make a statement about the ongoing attack on private property rights?

6. Where are you at on the FairTax??? The American people are ready for some real tax reform. Where are you??? Are you for the FairTax? Against it?

7. Why on God’s green Earth hasn't he gave an executive order to FEMA to set aside their no common sense regulation that says they can not put a trailer in a potential flood area and get every vehicle with a trailer hitch in Arkansas to hook up to one of those trailers and yank the damned things down to New Orleans to provide housing for police, firefighters and any American citizen who wants to work to rebuild that city?

8. Why has he absolutely failed to do anything at all about the invasion of illegal immigrants flooding into our country across our border with Mexico? Why hasn't he called for a full federal investigation of charges that armed and uniformed Mexicans are firing on Border Patrol agents?

I am sure I could think of many more things to ask, such as his prescription drug plan that is going to be one of the biggest nightmares we have ever seen. I guess you could really say that my main problem that I have with the President is his lacking of leadership on domestic issues. Of course, that is my problem with the Republican Party as a whole. They are the majority party but they continue to act like there the minority party. When you have a Republican majority that is unwilling to support ideas like Social Security reform and isn’t helping to take a real strong stand against the opposition on any other reforming idea… what’s a guy to do?

Saddam's WMD Tapes and Documents.

Another thing that the Bush Administration has done an exceptionally poor job of doing is rebutting the claim by the left that Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction. Not only did he have the weapons, he used them. But we're starting to get more information that proves Saddam was pursuing WMD.

Last week I told you about the Saddam Tapes. They are audiotapes of his meetings that he had about WMDs. Those tapes have been acquired by the U.S. government. There are over 300,000 hours of recordings that have been found. They are still being sorted through and analyzed. According to media reports, what they have found so far on the tapes is that Saddam was ready to fire up his WMD program the minute the UN inspectors pulled out of town. The tapes speak of WMD factories being ready. There are also quite a few documents that have been found and are being analyzed as well.

Those documents talk about missiles being buried in the desert before the war started. That would explain where they all went. There is a lot of desert in Iraq...they could be anywhere, the chances of actually finding them without any idea where they might be would probably be like finding a needle in a haystack. With all the audio tapes and all the documents that we have found we are learning new information all the time. Perhaps we will find out where those WMDs actually are.

And you know what else we're learning? It would seem Saddam was trying in the mid-90's to buy uranium from Africa. But wait...Saddam never tried to buy uranium in Africa...the Democrat Party says so! It has to be true...

Imagine what it would be like if tomorrow Saddam's entire stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction were found buried in the Iraqi desert. What would the Democrats say then? That day just may come.

French Youth Need Some Cheese For Their Whine

We had some more riots in France this week yesterday. The rioters were students at dozens of French universities who are upset at an attempt to reform the labor laws. The controversy is something called the First Employment Contract. This is a new law that allows employers to hire young people under the age of 26.

France has a big problem with youth unemployment. The unemployment rate for young people in France is over 20%. In some high-immigration (AKA Muslim) neighborhoods the rate is 40 percent. Why is it so high? Because it is nearly impossible to fire them after they are hired. The way the labor laws are in France once you hire them it takes a constitutional amendment, permission from the European Union, a bad year for Bordeaux and hell to freeze over before you can fire them, no matter how incompetent, stupid or lazy they prove to be. Employers don't like to hire unproven workers when they can't later get rid of them for poor performance, it is to high risk ... so the younger workers go unemployed.

The solution seems easy enough; a simple change in the First Employment Contract rules would work. The change will allow an employer to hire young people under a contract that can be terminated within two years without explanation.

Of course that is no good to the French youth who have learned to completely rely on laziness and government dependency from a socialistic welfare state. This causing the student riots. These young fools have been conditioned to expect the protections of the great French social welfare state, and the very idea that they might have to prove themselves during the first two years of their employment causes them great anxiety and distress ---clearly giving them reason to attack the police.

Just like always they want some cheese for their whine. Isn’t it a wonderful day not to be French.
